Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms formation of painful ulcers over the tongue which occurs recurrently seems to be Recurring Apthous Ulcers but confirmatory diagnosis can be given only after a clinical evaluation..
It can occur due to a few common conditions like
Nutritional Deficiency of Iron,
Vitamin B12 and folic acid, stress, acid reflux etc..
In case of apthous ulcers that do not heal by other remedies STEROIDS are given for relief..
Steroids like Prednisone which has to be taken in a loading dose and the dose is then slowly tapered off.
For pain OTC painkillers like Ibuprofen can be taken..
Do warm saline gargles.
Gargles with 1:1 solution of benadryl and
milk of magnesia can help.
Hydrogen peroxide mixed with water can be used for gargles..
Sucking on ice pops can help..
Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration..
Do not take spicy and sour foods..
Maintain a good
oral hygiene..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
