Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Nose Congestion

I have been sick since the first of It starts out with runny nose ear ache off and on. Eyes feel puffy and my right eye lid is not like my left. Cough And a headache. Then in about a week and a half it turns into body chills. Upset belly. Body aches. It gets to the point that I can’t go to work. I just finished 2nd round of antibiotics levoquin. I get cold sores under my nose. Had to get medicine for this also the last time. I can feel that my chest is still congested. I have the start of another one I nance been to the dr 4timea within the last year

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You may be suffering from acute viral Pharyngitis with rhinitis, lower respiratory tract infection.

Avoid cool drinks and frozen water, avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Use tablet Amoxiclav.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor. He will examine and treat you accordingly.
