Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain Canker sores also known as Apthous ulcers can occur due to a number of reasons and at times it can occur without any reason. Although the exact cause of the ulcers is not known till date..

-In case of recurrent episodes and if the sores do not respond to other medications a Steroid therapy i.e oral intake of steroids has to be done for relief..
-In case of pain you can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Advil..
-Taking a multivitamin for a period of 15 days can help in recovering any nutritional deficiency like iron, vitamin B 12 and folic acid..
-Warm saline gargles can help..
-Gargle with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia can help..
-Gargle with diluted hydrgen peroxide in water can help.Apply milk of magnesia after the gargles.
-Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration..
-Avoid hot ,sour and spicy foods..
-Sucking ice pops can help..
-Maintain a good oral hygiene and use alcohol free mouthwash for gargles.

Hope this information helps..
