General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The pregnancy-related piles are usually secondary to portal venous pressure changes in the circulatory system manifested via constipation.

My guidelines for the best recovery
- control constipation with high fiber diet, bulk-forming laxatives as per guidance by your OBGY
- sitz bath regularly
- strict avoidance of spices, non-veg
- avoid anal intercourse (if involved)

You can discuss out the option of laser surgery or cryotherapy with your surgeon after the delivery is over.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
