Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Sore Throat And Persistent Coughs

I m constantly getting sore throats and persistent cough. I feel so run down. What is the best over the counter remedy for soothing the throat, stopping the cough and future prevention suggestions. Is it possible to have ones immune system checked to see why I m constantly picking up infections?

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to Gastroesophageal reflux. Taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole ( Nexium ) for long term will be helpful. In case of allergic episodes taking combination of antihistamine like levocetirizine and mast cell stabilzers like monteleukast daily is also advised. For stabilising immunity I would suggest taking chewable vitamin C 100 mg daily.
