General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Wheezing can be recurrent wheezing due to allergy or recurrant infection due to low resistance.

He needs investigations like cbc/allergy screening test/xray chest..as per need , to find basic cause.followed by cause specific management.

Apart from the treatment prescribed..he should avoid the things he is allergic to/avoid exposure to cold, smoke,fumes,dust/avoid eating sour, spicy, oily food&known allergens.

Drink warm water/do warm water gargles&inhale vapor regularly to keep respiratory passages clean./Respiratory exercises in form of Pranayama help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
