Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Wrist Pain

I have recurring wrist pain when i practice my flute. the pain begins after about 45 minutes of practice and ceases if i stop, but returns the minute i begin playing again. What is the cause, and what can i do? As a musician there are often times where taking a break isn't an option.
