Suggest Treatment For Recurring Acute Rash Along With Elevated Neutrophil Count
My daughter age 38 developed an acute rash 6 days ago. It has been treated with predisone and Benadryl. Without the medication, it is back with a vengeance. Blood work today showed elevated calcium levels and elevated neutrophils. Any idea what is causing the rash?
Hi, welcome to HCM, More chances of acute urticaria. It often occurs after infection. elevated neutrophil count is showing this. ask her to take tab hydroxyzine 25 mg twice daily. Apply calamine lotion 2-3 times daily Further clinical examination is needed to rule out foci of infection and treated accordingly with antibiotics. Hope this will help you. Thanks
