Suggest Treatment For Recurring Chest Congestion And Sinusitis

Hello sir, I had chest congestion and sinusitis.my doctor suggested me to take deriphyllin 150 and montair LC for 10 days.After taking this I feel relaxed.But the symptoms now reappear when I stop this medication.Sometime I took montair LC and feel relaxed.Please tell how can I cure permanently and any side effect of taking montair LC again and again.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per query you have symptoms of recurring chest congestion and sinusitis which seems to be due to persistence of infection and infection through post nasal drip spread down the respiratory tract and can cause chest congestion.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist without any delay to prevent further complication. Doctor may order X-ray chest along with sinus X-ray and blood and sputum test to find out exact cause and can start treatment accordingly. You should drink glass of warm water with one spoon of honey in it. Avoid intake of cold beverages and outside food. You should take diet rich in probiotics and fresh fruits.
