Suggest Treatment For Recurring Cold And Cough In A Toddler

Dear Doctor, I have a kid of 4 yrs old and she frequently experiences cold and cough. From last 2 days she will make humming sound while sleeping and I have consulted a doctor. Doctor prescribed bro-zedex along with a paracetamol and he ususllay avoids anti biotic. Around a month back he prescribed the same bro-zedex for cough and we found it as not much efficacious and it was replaced by Ascoril LS. In her 11th month she suffered with WALRI and admitted for a week. Could you please suggest a way which we can proceed further...

I really appreciate your concern, such sound may not be due to any disease, but this could be due to narrow respiratory tract and collection some secretion inside and this is nothing to worry, with the time this would be okay soon, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
