Suggest Treatment For Recurring Deep Throat Infection
Very immodest and revealing question but of import to me.....I occasional practice fellatio and on occasion use the deepthroat technique. So sorry to be so forward ,but does engaging in such practices allow semen to get caught in the tonsils?.it seems every 3/4 month I get a throat infection. Is there a sure fire remedy ,besides abstinence ,to use to negate or prevent a throat infection.? Thank you,and again ,my apologies for the unusual and rude question.
If your partner is suffering from sexually transmitted disease, you are likely to get sore throat if you are doing oral sex due to fluids exchanged during oral sex. Get examined and treated at the earliest. Oral STI presents with sore throat, tonsillitis, swollen glands, fever, etc. Get a throat culture, throat swab, CBC, etc. done. You will be accordingly treated. Oral sex transmits other STDs like herpes, gonorrhea.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Hiba Tehrim, General & Family Physician
