Suggest Treatment For Recurring Painful Lumps In Different Areas
Yes, I have a reoccurring lump but in different area that is extremely painful and has grown in size. Back in November last year I had one, went to the ER and the doctor lanced it and left it open and sent me home, two days later I was worse and went back and was admitted on iv antibiotics and in the OR next morning for an I&D and in the hospital for 12 days on two IV antibiotics. I am planning to go to the ER again this evening because the pain is unbearable, but it s a different hospital in a different state, but I am scared of what might happen. The hospital in Nov never explained why this happened..they never sent anything to the lab. They just told me that my white blood count was very high..it took them about 10 days to get back to normal range. Really would like to know what is going on and why these lumps keep reoccurring and become infected so fast.
