Suggest Treatment For Recurring Rashes On Buttocks

I have yeast and mold allergies proven by testing. On and off over years I ve had rashes skin problems. Recently it topped out with a fuzzy type stuff on butt cheek chest pimples blisters and same weird stuff on my scalp. The Dr derma gave me Ketaconazol shampoo. Have only used it 4 times. It s still there. Bad thing is it travels out on my face and in my eyebrows. Also along with it I can feel little and big blister lumps on one side of my face from temple down and part of my forehead. Blisters also run into my scalp in same area. Derm gave me Ketaconazole shampoo. My hair is falling out more than it has been since July. Also have Ciclopirox for skin. Recently started bactrim ds for bladder inf. I KNOW THAT MY BODY NEEDS A DETOX TO CLEAN THIS UP. I THINK ITS SYSTEMIC. I HAVE BEEN ON THE YEAST CONNECTION DIET NO GLUTEN NO SUGAR. I FEEL HORRIBLE INSIDE AND THIRSTY ALL OF THE TIME. BEFORE I GOT ALL OF THIS I HAD ALREADY STOPPED SUGARS GLUTEN NO ALCOHOL. HAVE BEEN STRICT. HELP ME PLEASE!!! Sincerely Brenda

Hi,

Based on the symptoms you have described, it is possible that you are experiencing a fungal infection of the skin, particularly if you have a history of yeast and mold allergies. Fungal infections can occur on various parts of the body, including the buttocks, chest, and scalp. The fuzzy type stuff on your butt cheek and blisters on your forehead and scalp may be indicative of a fungal infection.

The Ketaconazole shampoo and Ciclopirox cream that your dermatologist prescribed are antifungal medications that are commonly used to treat fungal infections of the skin and scalp. It is important to use these medications as directed by your doctor and to continue treatment for the full course of therapy, even if your symptoms improve. If your symptoms do not improve or worsen after using these medications, you should follow up with your dermatologist.

In addition to antifungal medications, your doctor may recommend a topical steroid cream to help reduce inflammation and itching. It is important to use these medications as directed and not to overuse them, as long-term use of steroids can have side effects.

It is also possible that your symptoms are related to a systemic issue, such as a weakened immune system or a bacterial infection. It is important to discuss these concerns with your doctor and to undergo any necessary tests to identify the underlying cause of your symptoms.

In terms of detoxing your body, it is important to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. This includes avoiding foods that may trigger allergic reactions, such as gluten and sugar, and staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water. However, it is important to note that there is no scientific evidence to support the use of detox diets or cleanses to treat skin conditions or fungal infections.

In summary, the treatment for recurring rashes on the buttocks may involve antifungal medications, topical steroids, and addressing any underlying systemic issues. It is important to follow your doctor's recommendations and to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
