Suggest Treatment For Red And Painful Penis

My boyfriend washed his penis with shampoo. Now he has a red sore on his junk. It looks like it went through his thin layer of skin and it is showing his pink skin. He says after he washed, he woke up and it was like that. This is his first time using the shampoo and nothing else happened that could have done that. (We have sex, but I don t have an STD and neither does he.) Is there anyway to treat it? He says it stings a little too. I think it could be the shampoo...HELP please!

Hello,

The provided history suggestive of allergic inflammation over penis due to that shampoo use. I suggest you give him Levocetirizine like decongestant for five days. He can apply topical steroid cream over that. If no improvement then consult nearby dermatologist for detailed evaluation.
