Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR CONCERN.

Thanks for your query .The symptoms you mention in your query indicating to wards periodontal problems(gingivitis). When we do not maintain oral hygiene food debris and plaque start depositing at gum line ,keep irritating mucosa of gums make then swollen and infected.Pockets start forming in gums which further harness bacterias.

I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing and flossing twice a day regularly, do warm saline gargles several times a day ,use antiseptic mouthwash like listerine and drink plenty of water to flush bacteria from gums.

I would also suggest you to take vitamin C supplement (limcee)for atleast 15 days which is extremely important for health of your gums and boost your immune system

If condition still persists you should consult dentist/periodontist .Doctor may perform scaling ,prescribe antibiotic course ,prescribe betadine gargles and may perform procedure like curettage .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
