Suggest Treatment For Red And Sensitive Spot On The Gum Post Dental Procedure

I did not realize I was going to be charged for your help. I cannot afford that. Sad
I went to the Dentist last week and he put a Blue light in my mouth to check for any Cancer. There was none to be found.
I went back the next day and they did a deep cleaning on my mouth. That was last Tuesday now today I noticed a red dot on the edge of my gum it was sensitive so I went and brushed my teeth. That help
What is it? Could it be just from possible irritation?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain a tender red spot on the edge of the gum seems to be due to either trauma or localized infection like food impaction in that area..

Nothing to worry, just keep the area clean and apply gum paint over it..
You should also gargle with antiseptic mouthwash solution..

In case if it still does not improve or become painful further then you need to get a localized cleaning of the area done followed by a short course of antibiotics and painkillers..
