Suggest Treatment For Red And Sore Throat With Difficulty In Swallowing Food?

My name is Samantha I'm 40 yrs old 5'3" 220lbs. I just had back surgery on January 9th. My l5 s1. Since then my throat has been so sore & red and it's hard to swallow foods. My only health issues are high blood pressure. This is getting to be so hard because im hungry and haven't been able to even eat soups or broths . When I tried to eat nothing tasted right like I didnt have any taste buds anymore. What coul cause this ? Thanks

Hello,
Happy to see your query on HCM,
I have reviewed your history as you are having very bad soar throat I would suggest some remedies for immediate problem
1.Take plenty of rest and drink lot of fluids.
2. Gargle with warm salt water ( salt and water).
3.Try steam inhalations to ease the pain.
4.Breathe deeply through your mouth and nose and repeat it.
You may require some analgesics and antibiotics, Consult your doctor for taking medicine.
