Suggest Treatment For Red And Swollen Penis In A Child

My 2 year old has what I believe is a yeast infection that developed from a wet diaper... But I also noticed right before you get to the tip of his penis, its swollen and red like it had been bitten. Please help what can I do , I can t wait. Two more days until the peds office opens back up to do something !!!

A yeast infection would be associated with the redness that you are noticing.

Applying a topical antifungal cream may help. This includes medication such as econazole, ketoconazole, miconazole.

If he is in pain, use an analgesic such as children's ibuprofen or paracetamol.
