Two days ago when i was taking a shower i noticed a couple of red bumps in my armpit. They re are about three of them and they are tender to the touch, plus the whole area is generally red. The bumps are about the size of peas. I haven t changed my deodorant and can t figure out what they are.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Red painful bumps in the armpit can be due to boils or folliculosis.
Folliculosis is infection and inflammation of hair follicles.
Armpit is rich in hair follicles so it is most likely possibility.
I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and prescription of relevant antibiotics.
You can take pain killers for pain and avoid any cosmetic like deodorant till the bumps clear.

Thanks and take care
