Hi, As per your complain red bump on the cheek that is releasing pus and is painful can be due to clogged pores with dead cells, dirt and bacteria leading to infection and painful bump. It can also be due to inflamed hair follicles..Infection of the oil glands on face if you have an oily skin can also be a cause. I would suggest you to apply Triple antibiotic ointment over it. You can also apply a numbing ointment containing Lignocaine to relieve pain. You can do cool compresses to relieve inflammation and pain. Once the bump resolves, you should start exfoliating your face with a gentle scrub weekly to keep the pores clean. Avoid using harsh chemical cosmetics on face. Wash your face at least twice a day with a mild facewash. Take a nutritious diet and incorporate plenty of green vegetables and fruits and drink plenty of water. Hope this information helps.
