Suggest Treatment For Red Dots And Swelling Around The Injury Site

I removed my stiches and now the area has red dots around it. It is a little swollen and red and I had it bandaged and then put a wrap(ace bandage) around it so the regular bandage would stay in place. When the Dr. Put them in he said 10- 14 days they would need to be removed. That would have been on August 24(14 days) and it looked no where near ready. I finally took them out yesterday. It doesn t look so good now

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a local inflammation following the injury.
As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
