Suggest Treatment For Red, Itchy And Bleeding Spot On The Calf
I have a insect bite on my right calf. It s about the size of a dime. Red, irritated, bleeds when itched. The itching is all around the bite mark. There s also multiple bruises the size of dimes all the way up to the size of a quarter around it. The bruises appeared after the bite. I am unsure of what bit me but it has become very irritating. I ve tried treating with benadryl and anti-itch cream but the itching continues.

Hi,
It seems that there might be having local allergic reaction on the part due to some poisonous insect biting.
Due to itching now there might be having some soft tissue infection as well.
Continue with Benadryl or Cetrizine for itching and allergic reaction.
You might require one short course of antibiotic medicine for 3 days.
Apply triple action cream locally.
Ok and take care.
