Suggest Treatment For Red Itchy Bumps In The Groin Area

I have a small group of red bumps in the area where the elastic on my underwear sits near my vagina. I alsi have the same kind of group on the top part of my buttock crack, where the top of my underwear sit. Both areas are red, bumpy, and itch. Could this be an allergic reaction to the new soap I ve used, or something serious?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

It could very well be an allergic reaction to the soap used, or it could also be due to the area being left moist for long periods of time and so I would recommend visiting a dermatologist for further evaluation. But for now you can try and use clotrimazole cream to see if it helps you.

Best wishes.
