Suggest Treatment For Red Itchy Spots On The Shin And Thighs

I am a 37 female that has red, flat, itchy dots on the front of my shins and thighs. I was outside for several hours on mother s day with just shorts on my legs. I had a sunburn in some areas that were itchy the next day but not red dots. The itch is still there but these red dots have showed up today.

Hi,

You seem to have sun rays induced irritant dermatitis leading to erythematous and bruised macules and patches. Or probably it may be polymorphic light eruptions. For perfect diagnosis, you must consult dermatologist.

Still, I would suggest as follow...

- antihistaminics
- steroids in tappering doses
- application of antibiotic with mild steroid cream
- avoidance of soap bath
- avoidance of exposure to sun

This might help you..

Thanks.
