Hi,
I understand your concern.
MRSA is bacterial infection caused by resistant strain of
staphylococcus aureus. The typical lesion of this infection is pimple or boil like lesion in vaginal area, that is red, with
fever & sometimes pus in it.
You seem to have an itchy, red swollen vaginal involvement. It dies not match with MRSA infection.
I feel it to be fungal vaginitis- again transmitted by sexual act- & can be relieved by it's specfic treatment given to both sex partners,
Treatment would be easy after vaginal swab microscopic testing /culture & sensitivity test
* In case of
fungal infection a course of flucanozole pills &
candid vaginal pessaries & candid local ointment to both partners would suffice.
* If it's bacterial infection- a sufficiently long dose of effective antibiotics to both partners with local ointment/pessaries would help.
** you should consult a gynecologist for exact diagnosis & specific treatment.
Thanks.
