Suggest Treatment For Red Itchy Welts On The Body

Over the past 3 weeks I have like a welt, red, iches on about 5 different places on my body. There are no insecets around... I don t have pets... I have lived here 30 years. I don t see anything around, in my bed, etc. Is something biting me or is it something else?

Hello,

Red, itching welts that appear on body sometimes are due to allergic reaction to some medicine or substance or insect bite/ chemical irritants/ autoimmune reaction/ infection due to some microorganism or sometimes it appears without any cause and it goes away automatically.

As you are not sure of the cause or something went unnoticed, I would suggest you see a dermatologist as looking at the rashes, by their appearance and another history he will be able to find out what has caused this.

Once the cause behind it is known you will be prescribed appropriate medicines if needed.
