HI, ive had a red lump on my nose for what seems like a year or so now, ive mainly just left it, but now tried to get rid of it, it releases clear puss when pressured, it almost looks like blackheads have formed ontop of it too? could it be some sort of boil? any help is appreciated thanks
The lump as you mention in query is seems to be a cherry angioma . A cherry angioma is a noncancerous (benign) skin growth made up of blood vessels. They are also known as senile angiomas or Campbell de Morgan spots . This type of skin growth is typically not a cause for concern unless it bleeds often or changes in size, shape, or color.I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination and to rule out condition like cyst . There are few treatment option which doctor can opt for its treatment like :-
- Electrocauterization , this is surgical method of treatment involves burning the angioma by using an electric current .
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon.
