Suggest Treatment For Red Marks On Neck, Face, Chest, Hands, Feet And Ankles

my daughter is 15 years old, and since she was a small child has had extremly red cheeks when she would get hot. the cheeks are hot to the touch. over the last 6 mos. it has started to become spotchy, red blister like marks (not raised in any way), that cover her neck, face, chest, hands, feet, ankles. it does not itch her nor does she complain of any pain. it typically happens between 10am and 2pm while she is at school.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for asking question.
Here possibilty of heat damage or SLE like disease.
Do ANA level to rule out SLE.
Here is some suggestion for you.
Avoid exposure to sun light to minimum.
Wear protective clothing.
Vitamin D supplementation is helpful.
Avoid stress. And advise her to do light exercise daily.
Take 12 hour sleep.
Advise her to take healthy diet.
Corticosteroid cream can be applied locally.
If still no benefit then short course of sterois or diphenhydramine can be used.
Thanks.
