Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Lump under skin which is growing in size and becoming painful can be due to some adnexal tumor. I suggest you to consult your dermatologist for clinical assessment and excision biopsy. Histopathological examination of adnexal mass is required to know the exact nature of lesion.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
