Hi The type of skin rash that you have developed seems to be more like an allergic skin rash. Since you have had a surgery recently, such rashes are very common in the immediate post operative period. Various antiseptics are used to clean the body areas before surgery in the form of betadine and other solutions. They are a common cause of development of skin allergic reactions.
