Yes please. My husband is experiencing a red spot on the rim of the penis that has gotten large and is now extending on the penile head. There is also a new red spot the size of half of a pea that has started at another site. There is no pain, no drainage. The spot is flat, red, boarders are uneven, and there is no drainage. Concerned that it is not resolving, but is getting larger and extending on the penile head.
It looks like psoriasis, and that is not a sexually transmitted disease. Yet, these symptoms get manifested by syphilis and genital herpes, and these both are STDs. You are suggested to get him clinically examined by a Urologist or a dermatologist. He should get tested for sexually transmitted infections, if reports show positive result he will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals.
For psoriasis he will be treated with steroids, retinoids, Cyclosporin topically or orally depending on the severity of the infection. Exposure to sunlight for some time is helpful. Light therapy with UVB may be recommended by the treating doctor if needed. He should avoid any type of sexual activity while he is being treated. He should take care of his hygiene & wear loose fitting cotton clothes so that the affected part is not hurt by friction with the clothes worn.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
