Suggest Treatment For Red Spots On Nose And Dry Sinuses

Hello... My name is Cindy, Dr. Keerthi, I m 53 yrs old. Approx. a month ago I woke up and my glabella was swollen. I have no pain at all, But I have two small red spots ( one on either side of my nose). The skin of the red spots continuiously flake. I feel like I can t breathe through my nose, and my sinuses are very dry. I do try blowing my nose, but only on a couple of times have had a small amount of blood show up. Also my vision gets blurry, and my eyelids itch non stop.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to sinusitis.

For that you can apply nasal saline drops locally.

Continue steam inhalation and Betadine gargle twice a day.

You can take tablet loratidine.

In case of fever, you may require antibiotics after ENT consultation.

Avoid allergens.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale
