Suggest Treatment For Red Spots On The Legs

My legs constantly have tiny red dots probably originating from where hair has to grow and they worsen when im standing, they don t hurt but they look scary. They subside a bit when i allow my legs to rest. I tried moisturizing because that s what someone told me; it could be a moisture deffiency however that didn t change anything.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having pigmented purpuric dermatosis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid standing for long periods of time and keep pillows below legs while sleeping.
2. Apply a calcium dobisilate cream like Osil cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 1 month.
4. Other treatment options are oral calcium dobisilate, multivitamins and topical steroid given after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
