Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
There are red spots under my palms of my hand since one week , which it is sensitive to heat when I touch hot water . This appears me many times and went off but this time it lasts long and some times itching Can I know the cause for it , which was it because of cold weather or food , any allergies please
First I need to have a look at the red spots under your palms of your hand before running into final conclusions.
I think it might be related to allergy caused by any new cosmetic or another allergen you might have been in contact recently.
I advise applying emollient lotion. Calamine lotion can ease the itching. Avoid putting your hands in hot or very cold water or in touch too extreme temperatures.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
