Swollen, red meatus. A little background on my situation. I went to MEXICO about 3 weeks ago. While there I very briefly had unprotected vaginal sex and then put on a condom. I did have unprotected oral sex for a longer duration. About 5 or 6 days after returning home I noticed that my meatus was swollen and irritated. By irritated I mean, a little red. At first it burned a little bit when I urinated, but that has gone away. If I squeeze my penis at pretty much anytime I can get a few drops of clear discharge. Honestly, I am not even positive this isn t left over urine since the amount is so small. The level of red and swolleness comes and goes but is always there. It appears more irritated after I pee and ejaculate. Now to be clear, this doesn t hurt at all and doesn t get worse from day to day physical activity. It just doesn t look normal. At times it looks like swollen lips at the end of my penis but this visual can change. After really examining myself it appears that a very small piece of skin on the right side of my meatus is protruding and that I can tuck it in or pull it out if I want. I was tested for chlamydia, Hiv, Gonorrhea, and had a full blood and urine analysis. All came back clean. My doctor first perscribed a one time, 4 pill dose of antibiotics a week ago. That didn t work. I m now on the 3rd day of a 10 day cycle of doxycycline with no improvement so far. This seems like a rather common issue with no real answers.
