Hi,
Red ulcer near anal cavity may result from sexually transmitted diseases like HIV,
human papilloma virus, syphilis, herpes, chlamydia etc. Some underlying conditions like Crohn's disease,
ulcerative colitis, other
inflammatory bowel disease, constipation, anal sex etc., may lead to form ulcer in the anal area. Treatment depends on causes. You should undergo some investigations like blood test for HIV, HPV, syphilis etc., CBC, CRP, colonoscopy,
sigmoidoscopy, biopsy from the ulcerated area and find out the underlying the causes which are responsible for your suffering and then treat them accordingly.
In the meantime, you can take Clindamycin for soft tissue inflammation, lactulose for preventing constipation; apply
Hydrocortisone ointment on your affected area, weight reduction and abstinence from anal sex.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
