General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your husband seems to have ischial pudendal abscess mostly associated with chronic constipation, anal fissure or polyps. This condition needs earliest consultation of a surgeon and get it incised before it ripens to avoid further more troublesome complications like formation of a fistula.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
