Suggest Treatment For Redness And Itching In The Perineum

I have a problem with redness and itchyness in the area of my perineum. Scratching makes it painful. It almost seems that small tears are appearing in the said area. I0m a 20 yr old female, and a virgin. Could it be some kind of yeast infection or an STD?
