Suggest Treatment For Redness And Swelling On The Eyelids
My eyelids started turning red and blotchy about 3-4 weeks ago. I finally went to the family doctor and was advised last MOnday that I had an infection under my eyelid. I m takingSulfameth/tmp 800/160mg tb and have been since last Monday, 5 days ago. The symptoms have gotten very worse. It is almost like a blister on my eyelids and now in the outside corners of both eyes. And there is also blotching starting to apprear under my eyes. I m very concerned because it appears it is spreading now. It is almost like blisters and it is very very dry and flaky. Please help me. I will go to urgent care tomorrow but would like some info this evening. Thank you. Connie Johnson
It could be a conjunctivitis. Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated. You might require antibiotic drops for symptomatic relief. Generally you will improve with conservative management
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
