Suggest Treatment For Redness Around A Bruise On Knee

hi, i hurt my knee 5 days back.. i took proper care of it but i feel that i might have used a lot of savlon to clean the area around the wound which has now turned into redness, it felt like the skin is burning.. thinking that i started putting some ointment on it. now the burning sensation is not there but redness is and i am worried. should i see a doctor? i dint get tetanus shot because there was no direct contact with the metal or stone. i also took some anti biotics for two days. the wound itself is almost healed. i m tensed about the redness around it. it is not paining and i dont see any puss being formed either. please advice..
