Suggest Treatment For Reduced Hair Growth In The Beard
Hello! I wanna know, i am 19years old. And i very want have beard on my face. I have beard but not big. And i was reading that many vitamins like Biotin, and minoxisil can help with my that s problem. Can you give great advice for me? I will wite your answer. Thank you!!!!
I think you should first check testosterone levels, low testosterone gives low hair growth. Also, you should check your thyroid hormone levels because hypothyroidism may cause low growth hair. Also, you should get checked for iron deficiency anemia. If everything came out normal you can use vitamin supplements such as vitamin D and vitamin B12 to help hair growth. Also, you can use minoxidil.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
