Suggest Treatment For Regularizing Menstruation

I have a irregular period.. 6months before I got married.. Now I m trying for pregnant but because of this irregular period problem still I m not getting pregnant.. When i consult doctor they refer metformin and chrominac tablet but after taking this tablet I m not getting regular period.. So my question is can I have a MT tone syrup for the regular period.. Its have a any side effects??

It is Ayurveda preparation medicine. Got side effects like Emesis, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Weight gain and Stomach upset.
