Suggest Treatment For Restless Leg Syndrome While On Aleve

Unfortunately I have restless leg syndrome. The night before I went for a urine test, I probably took 10 anaconda, 4 legatrin and a couple of aleve pm. Only was able to sleep 1 hour. Could all this aspirin & such be the cause of microscopic blood in the urine.

Hi,

In people with mild to moderate restless legs syndrome, lifestyle changes, such as beginning a regular exercise program, establishing regular sleep patterns, and eliminating or decreasing the use of caffeine, alcohol, and tobacco, may be helpful.

Also, some home remedies that may help include:

Leg massages, Hot baths or heating pads or ice packs applied to the legs, Good sleep habits, Medications may be helpful but are used only in severe cases and maybe, Neupro, and Requip or benzodiazepines.

Anticonvulsants, or antiseizure drugs, such as Tegretol, Lyrica or Neurontin.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
