Suggest Treatment For Right Sided Back Pain

I am over weight and when I turned to my right and wiped my butt I hurt my back under my right shoulder about 6 - 8 inches and pain in my side area as well. I have horrible back spasms that have made me scream actually. I do NOT DO pain pills but would muscle relaxers help? What did i hurt?

Hello,

It seems you have hurt a muscle. A sharp pain that started while you did a quick movement and that restrains you from moving and feeling in spasm is typical of muscular strain.
You may use muscle relaxants but combining them with pain killers may provide better pain control. Some exercises for the back (stretches) may be beneficial as well and would be best if given by a physiotherapist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
