Suggest Treatment For Right Sided Pain In A Child

My 8 y.o. granddaughter s right side is painful. To the touch there s a knot which is hard and hot. She said it s been hurting since this morning. We gave her children s motrin approx 10 ml 2x but she said it still hurts. Can u help or should she be taken to Urgent Care or the hospital on the Indiian Reservation? All help 8s appreciated.

As of now, you can give Paracetamol syrup according to weight.
