Suggest Treatment For Roaring Sound,pressure And Dullness In Ear
I am a 30 year old female that has had a roaring sound in my right ear after rubbing my neck 2 weeks ago. I was seen at a Urgent care thinking that it was impacted, this was not the case. The Doctor at the urgent care stated she seen what appeared like a bubble of fluid behind the ear drum, and no redness either. Took Z-pac , musenex DM, and Flonase. I currently still have the roaring sound, the pressure, the dullness, and a whistling sound when I attempt to hold my nose and clear. I have also experienced the feeling of something rolling around inside of my ear. With all of this I had tubes at age 8 with complications. The right had to be removed by the ENT.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have roaring sound,pressure and dullness in ear which could be due to many reasons such as wax build up , hearing loss , infection of ear , condition like meniere's disease , impacted tooth and temporomandibular joint problem . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order Ct scan , blood test , and examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe stronger antibiotics , clean wax , prescribe supplement like ginkgo biloba and may refer you to oral surgeon if the problem is due to temporomandibular joint or impacted tooth .
