Suggest Treatment For Rotator Cuff Injury

how can i heal a rotator cuff injury? I am a golfer and I haven't played since July because my left shoulder was hurting. I've seen a Kaiser PT in June and i had been doing 3lb exercises at the gym but it has not healed at this point. I have full rotation in the shoulder that appears to have a sprained cuff.
