Suggest Treatment For Rubella IgM During Pregnancy
Hi, My wife has a history of habitual abortion 3 times in the past 3 years. This time we did her treatment and she was on medication for 6 months before planning a baby. She was given Folic Acid, Biotin and Ecospirin dosage continuously. Now my wife is 7 months pregnant. However, we got her checked for Rubella IgM and the test came positive. please advise what necessary precautions and medications should be taken to avoid any mishap. Regards, Navid

Though RUBELLA is dangerous in pregnancy the risks to baby are high only in first trimester that is first 3 months.
now that she is already 7 months there is no need to worry. please consider a scan after 4 weeks to check baby growth.
