Suggest Treatment For Runny Nose , Cold And Sneezing

Hi , please help me to find out the problem in me before i go to sleep i get irritations like sneezing , running nose, getting cold , till i fall asleep i keep on sneezong for no reason . Morniong also my routine begins with the same problem my parents says that its an allergy Please help me to find out the reason for this action _ Preethika

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have runny nose, cold and sneezing which is due to upper respiratory infection. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get chest x-ray done along with pulmonary function tests done so as to detect level of infection and treatment can be started accordingly. You should avoid use of spicy, sharp oily and fried food substances. You should take combination of antobiotic Levofloxacin along with anti histamine such as Levocetrizine. You should take cough expectorants. You should do warm saline rinses 3-4 times a day. You should avoid cold carbonated beverages. Apply mist humidifiers in room. You should take throat soothing agents.
