Suggest Treatment For Ruptured Wrist Vein

hi I am worrying about my friend. he had a incident with a rope and pulled his hand from his wrist. it was pulled very hard and his hand was a space apart from his wrist. he was barely able to move his fingers however his hand was numb. the doctor said the vein in his wrist was ruptured. will he have a amputation? I am very worried about him.

General Surgeon 's  Response
From your history it appears that there is dislocation of the wrist joint.Nerves and tendons might have been pulled up. Vessels might have been torn. But as your doctor tells that only some vessel has been torn, probably a vein.So confirm from your doctor.
